I had the rare opportunity to photograph my brother and his family. Since they live in Iceland I do not get the opportunity that often. These are all taken in Batesville, VA

These pictures are from our cherry picking trip. We stopped at a little "place" (it was only this store and a couple of houses) named Batesville in Virginia. It was a beautiful place and full of opportunities for photography. I have made the color in these pictures vibrant which is my new "thing".





I thought this sign was rather funny because the fence was for sure not invisible, lol.

Cherry picking in Afton, VA

We took a drive to Afton, Virginia this weekend to go cherry picking. It is a 3 hour drive from Virginia Beach but so worth it. I used the oportunity to take pictures of my nephews and my brother's family while there. Batesville was a little town that we had to cross to get to the cherries and I am so happy we had to drive through there because it is the most beautiful place I have ever seen. These are some of the pictures from both the cherry picking and Batesville, VA.

Outside Wawa on Virginia Beach Blvd in Virginia Beach I found these sheds that looked just PERFECT!
